 In 2018 the Dfe published two significant documents which have provided the framework for the professional development for Early years SENCO’s and others with an interest in working young children with SEND. KCA and CPC have been working together to create courses which can be accessed by a wide range of practitioners wishing to engage in professional development. these combine a robust knowledge base with an established and responsive online learning platform.

The courses are mapped against the Level 3 SEND qualification specification to ensure that learners have access to content which is aligned with national policy and which meets their needs.

Existing SENCO’s in PVI settings who wish to update and consolidate existing knowledge

Practitioners new to role of SENCO or interested in becoming a SENCO
